Web client applications keep getting better and better. For a developer this means more and more Javascript complexity. Eventually this can devolve into a tangled mess of HTML, CSS, Javascript, and JQuery. Backbone.js is an MVC Javascript framework that brings organization to the client side. This talk will provide an overview and gentle introduction to Backbone.js. We will cover the basics, look at some examples, and see what happens with PHP on the server.
