Aaron's comments and logic were right on the money, and the IDE comparison was very good - at the end of the day it felt more like a pep talk on all the reasons we should be using IDE's - whatever one we choose. BTW I don't mean this as a criticism at all but rather I think it fit in as module of "Best Practices for PHP development"....

I really enjoyed both presentations during the meeting. IDE Comparison presentation was really insightful and further expanded my knowledge of current IDE's. Aaron's presentation "The 5 secrets to get a Job Offer every week" also was very interesting and offered many helpful tips for finding jobs.

Both presentations were excellent. Aaron shared a lot of advice for developing your career in the open source world and did so in an entertaining way. Also very excited to start experimenting with IDEs and version control systems. Thanks to all!

Aaron and Joel do a great job coordinating interesting and relevant presentations. I really like the format of starting with a more general/business/intro topic, breaking for refreshments and networking, then presenting a more advanced topic in the 2nd half of the meeting. Great diversity of experience levels a the meeting, but lots of people were engaged and interacting.

I thought the 5 Secrets to get a job offer every week was very informative and helpful. The presentation was very well put together and gave real life examples of what has and is working to get a job. The IDE Comparison presentation was also very informative. The tools presented showed the power of IDEs in PHP development and how they can increase productivity.
